Snow Leopard on the way, hopefully!

Update: Did some testing, and it's not very easy to boot the install disc, will try when i got more time.

I will spend some time tonight trying to install Snow Leopard on my 1005HA. If it succeeds i will let you know and i will post a nice guide for you too!

  4. I restored the install dvd onto an USB HD and exchanged the OSInstall.mpkg with a MBR friendly one. Afterwards I installed Chameleon2RC1 on another USB Stick. When I boot of the stick, Chameleon identifies the Install Partition on USB HD but I get kernel panics of every sort during loading. Uptime is never greater than 2 seconds.
    Tried different kext sets, but failed each time.

  10. I have SL 10.6.1 running great on my 1005HA. The only real issue so far is getting trackpad functionality. The built in PS2 kext "works" but the trackpad is on the verge of unusable. Extremely sensitive, seems like a horribly low polling rate, jumpy, accidental clicking, etc. Hopefully a guide will help get this sorted out
